OCIA – the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults – is a parish ministry devoted to welcoming those interested in exploring these types of questions.
The OCIA ministry goals are to:
“In the Sacraments of Christian initiation, we are freed from the power of darkness and joined to Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. We receive the Spirit of filial adoption and are part of the entire people of God in the celebration of the memorial of the Lord’s death and resurrection.”
–paragraph 1, Order of Christian Initiation for Adults
The OCIA ministry meets from September through the Easter Vigil. Meetings will be held weekly on a day and time convenient for all participants. Parishioners who would like to learn more about their faith are also welcome to attend.
